This is a Large Hand Standard model flute made by Casey Burns in the key of D. It is made from blackwood and features his  ergonomic fingering. It is a very easy to play flute and extremely comfortable for the reach due to Casey's hole placement. Included with the flute is a padded fabric case.

One photo shows the flute next to my Burns boxwood "D" Folk Flute with ergonomic standard spacing. I was amazed at how easy it is to play the larger holed flute. You'll note that the holes in the blackwood flute are a little larger than those on the Folk Flute and further down the barrel. 

This hole configuration provides a little more volume and resonance than the standard hole size and spacing, but seems to require just a bit more air.
