As soon as I saw this stone by Blue Heron Gems, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. The stone has incredible banding, is fully translucent, and has lots of crystals at the top (kind of like piranha teeth).
For this special stone I've designed an extra special setting. The entire piece is done with tarnish resistant Argentium sterling. The setting does not hold the entire stone; it is tension mounted so that it is tight and secure. A very nice water casting complements the stone and hides the bail.
