As soon as I saw this stone by Blue Heron Gems, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.  The stone has incredible banding, is fully translucent, and has lots of crystals at the top (kind of like piranha teeth).   For this special stone I designed an extra special setting.  The entire piece is done with tarnish resistant Argentium sterling.  The setting is a tension mounted design so that it is tight and secure.  With this design, I was able to leave the top and back of the stone exposed.  A very nice water casting complements the stone and hides the bail.     Appoximately 2"  tall.
